In Case You Missed It: City-County Council Recap

  • Google withdrew their proposal on the Franklin Township Data Center. 

  • Mayor Hogsett refused to fund the one request made by the IMPD Chief in this year’s city budget: new police vehicles. 

  • In response, Republican Councilors Josh Bain and Michael-Paul Hart voted no on the public safety budget, standing in solidarity with our law enforcement. Indy’s first responders deserve every tool they need to keep Indianapolis safe.

Violence this Past Weekend

Indianapolis experienced another violent weekend, marked by a “flurry of shootings” involving juveniles and a suspect who had previously been in custody for resisting arrest.

State Rep. Andrew Ireland spoke with Fox59, highlighting the Marion County Prosecutor’s ongoing failure to keep dangerous individuals off our streets.
