Crime Conversation Continues, Foust commends Indiana Police
In a released statement, candidate for Marion County Prosecutor Philip Foust thanked the Indiana Fraternal Order of Police for their vote of no confidence against weak-on-crime prosecutor Ryan Mears.
Philip Foust: “With their vote of no confidence today, Indiana’s law enforcement have sided with the law-abiding people of Marion County who have suffered under an ideological experiment for long enough.”
As prosecutor, Foust would focus on restoring accountability to the prosecutor’s office, and safety to Marion County and bring the change Indianapolis families need.
“Together, we can restore safety, accountability, and confidence in the Marion County Justice System."
Foust Joins WIBC, Prosecutor Mears’ Weakness on Crime Exposed
In a recent interview with WIBC, candidate for Marion County Prosecutor Philip Foust says Indianapolis residents are “fed up with the status quo.”
As prosecutor, Foust will reorient the goals of the prosecutor’s office back to its core mission of “enforcing the law, seeking justice for victims, and protecting the public.”
Indiana Leaders Want a Marion County Prosecutor Who Prosecutes
Last week, Carmel Mayor Sue Finkam offered sharp criticism over repeat offenders from Marion County committing crimes in surrounding communities like Carmel.
Mayor Finkam says 57% of those arrested in Carmel and nearly 40% of inmates come from Marion County.
